Possibly the last generation of xenon headlamps illuminates the road ahead. The march of full LED lights seems unstoppable, especially for the Audi brand.
I cruise along a motorway as if I’d assume that this would be the favourite territory of this car but, given the good s-tronic automatic 7 speed gearbox, I really am looking forward to put the wheels on a twisty mountain road and feel how it will react.

Driving through southern Spain has always its vibes and the coast road between Marbella and Cadiz could not be a better place to be right now.
Earlier this afternoon I was driving around the glamorous Puerto Banus, in a rather pleasant supercars traffic jam, which was a really hard task for a “normal car” to not let me feel “out of the place”.
And somehow I felt that this new Peugeot 308 was the right car for the job.

I was 10 when I saw it for the first time on a magazine. And I didn’t like it at all. A few months later a family friend who was working for Alfa Romeo, got one on a demo and drove it home. Again, I didn’t like it. Back then my reference in aerodynamics and style for sport cars were the current GTB/GTS Ferrari series.
For my 10 years old eyes the car wasn’t a beauty at all. They called it “il Mostro”, which isn’t just “monster”, it was “THE Monster”. About right I thought.
